How the payload is built. A Wi-Fi QR code is plain text in the form WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;;. Five characters — \ ; , : " — must be escaped with a backslash inside the name and the password, otherwise a password such as coffee;2026 is cut at the semicolon and the phone fails to join.
